Together France

Together is a Non-governmental, non-profit voluntary organization. It was established in France in 2003 by few passionate people, who believe in what they do: cross European cooperation and networking among civic organizations and the values and mutual learning such cooperation brings.

These people wished to use their experience gained throughout numerous international programs and work experience in alike organizations in several European countries and wanted to create an open forum facilitating international meetings on different topics, bringing together different targets and thereby supporting networking among people and organizations with similar interests.

Together works on pan-European basis and recognizes the values of networking principles. Therefore it supports creation of new and development of existing partnerships among civic organizations from already 15 European countries including organizations from Commonwealth of Independent States and Middle East.

The target group of Together and it's partners is in general civic society and specifically young people, being the generation that is " to make a difference". We believe deeply that active participation of young people can empower them their friends and the society around them.

Solidarity Tracks

Created on June of 2007, (the) Greek "Solidarity Tracks" or "MONOPATIA ALLILEGHIIS" it is a non profit society. The aims of the company are cultural, instructive, educational, social, developing, humanitarian and in no case profit. Its activities are based on:

• The conscious participation of the citizens in a multicultural European Commission, in order to promote the principles of justice and equality.
• The sensibility for social, environmental problems of the humanity and the understanding of peoples' independence.
• The development of projects reliant on international solidarity, intercultural exchanges and tourism, organisation of voluntary service on local and international level.
• The development and preservation of cultural, educational and social links between Greece and the counties members of E.C. as well as with the countries that Greece and E.C has signed special relation contracts of collaboration on the sectors of civilisation, youth education and social subjects.
• The promotion of ecological products and products which come from biological farming in accordance with the spirit and aims of the society.
• The participation on humanitarian help, alimentary and development programs who concern populations of countries in process of development (especially actions which contribute to economic and social development, particularly at the sectors/areas of health, education, essential social infrastructures and the promotion of respect on human rights).
• Actions of decentralization of the society to the region and countryside.
• Similar activities on already mentioned sectors, which promote the local cultural evolution and contribute to the European, are accomplish via the intercultural dialogue and the mutual understanding. For example we can mention the following activities:
• Researches and studies, participation of the company on competitions of public sector, organization of conferences, seminars, expositions, festivals, workshops and programs of cultural animation, production of audio-visual programs which promote the aims of the company, distribution of brochures with cultural educational context, offer services and studies to the public sector and to other organisations.
• For the realisation of the above objectives, the society collaborates with European and international organisations, with Greek public authorities and in general with every foundation, public or private in Greece and abroad with similar objectives. The basic actors of our activities are our young members but our actions are opened to the large locality.

Together Italy

ITALY TOGETHER is a non-profit organization founded in 2007.

TOGETHER is responsible for promoting the activities of the European program "Youth in Action" by promoting youth mobility and intercultural meeting of various European countries.

TOGETHER organizes cultural exchanges, seminars, traning courses and European volunteer programs. Our goal is to cut the bridges between seemingly different cultures with the aim of creating a united, multicultural and tolerant Europe.

Work in Progress

Work In Progress -WIP- is a no profit organization created by a group of young people who have decided to promote active participation among young people through local and european activities.

WIP promotes youth mobility, active participation through youth exchange programs for young people and between young people from Europe. Wip is strongly opposed to discrimination based on race, color, sex, creed, ethnicity or nationality.

Wip supports local initiatives aimed to promote the culture and traditions of Puglia and are characterized by constant search for dialogue between cultures and peoples. It allows to develop an awareness of peace, international cooperation and mutual understanding. Wip collaborates with other local groups supporting and informing young people, immigrants and disadvantaged people, helping and encouraging participation in all activities in progress.

Association Jacques Prevert

Founded in 1983 by a group of neighbours, the Association Jacques Prevert worked in the school premises and even directly on the area until 1989. 1989 is the opening date of the neighbourhood center Jacques Prevert. Enlarged in 1999, it’s now an area of 500 m2.

The neighbourhood center is located in the northwest, along the periphery Thionvilloise. The western districts are located near the city center, just 15 minutes walk to the farthest. Located at the foot of the towers on the hexagonal Prés district of Saint-Pierre, the equipment is easily identifiable by its architecture (large one-story house, down the towers).

Our operational area is covered by four different neighborhoods. These neighbourhoods are located near the City Center of Thionville. The most distant neighbourhoods, the Near Saint Pierre and Milliaire are 15mn walk. The unit is equipped with services and shops. The total population of 7 415 inhabitants, which represents 3 337 households.

Together Greece

Together Greece is an independent youth organisation established in Greece. It is a member of the European network Together.

Our main aim is to promote intercultural learning and youth participation through various projects on local as well as international level. We also work on integration of minority groups into the society.

 

EFM ( Poland )

Europejskie Forum Mlodziezy (EFM) is a non -profit, non –governmental organization from Bystrzyca Klodzka, concentrating on youth projects for the local community. In our activities we work with a range of young people, particularly with disadvantaged and those who have limited opportunities if for example the place they live in is a small town and/or a rural area.

Our goal is to promote European awareness, passing on accurate and relevant information to youth groups and the local community about the EU integration process. EFM strives to develop local democracy and stimulate more involvement and desire to participate in the region’s activities and future.

Our activities and actions include the hosting of workshops and trainings, international youth exchanges, conferences, seminars, open air music events designed to effectively and realistically tackle the concerns of young people and the local community. The target group of the organization’s activity are generally young people from high schools living in our region. The number of members of our organisation is 100.

The main aim of Europejskie Forum Młodzieży is:

• shaping the modern image of the country and region beyond its borders;
• interest development of the actual social and political reality. The aim of this activity is to facilitate the youth to the participation in active and effective public life of the region, country and Europe;
• striving for elimination all bariers that make the free contacts between youth from all Europe impossible;
• propagation of practised modules of local european democracy;
• propagation of the local youth iniciatives at an angle of international cooperation;
• promotion of active to the culture, sport and youth tourism extent;

EFM implements above aims through:

• maintenace of contacts and mutual exchange of experience with similar organizations in country and beyond its borders
• organisation of self-education of the Association’s members in field of their interests
• organisation congresses, lectures and meetings about political, social and economic problems
• leading own social researches
• establishing contact with national and local government,
• initiating, promotion and leading cultural activities and sport tourism contributing to better perceptive of the world
• colleting financial means to the statute goals of the association
• making economic iniciatives. The profit from the iniciatives is destined for realization of EFM’s programmes.
